About
Who makes IAdex, and how
An independent site to understand AI without jargon. Here is who runs it, how content is checked and how we correct our mistakes.
Who is behind IAdex
My name is Steven and I am passionate about artificial intelligence. I follow its developments every day: new models, new tools, new uses. I use AI at many levels, to write, search, organise and above all to build. I design agents (AIs that can chain actions together) and experiment with models and uses that are still exploratory. What I test feeds directly into IAdex: the pages, the choice of tools and the practical advice.
I am responsible for the content published on IAdex and for the processing of data sent through the forms. For any question, correction or request about your data, write to me at contact@iadex.app.
Why IAdex
AI changes every week, and information about it is often technical, in English or geared towards selling tools. IAdex aims to be a clear, independent starting point: understand the concepts, follow the essential news and choose tools that fit your needs. Above all, IAdex is not meant to be a site you visit once and forget. I am building it on my own for now, but it is meant to grow with other people’s contributions and to bring AI enthusiasts together: a place where beginners feel welcome, where you can ask the “silly” questions, share what works, report a mistake or suggest a page. Nobody is born knowing what a language model is. We learn better together.
How we review
- Every entry cites its sources, favouring primary sources: research papers, documentation and official announcements.
- Every entry shows its last update date and its status: “To review” until a person has checked it, “Reviewed” afterwards.
- News is prepared every week from public sources, then reviewed before it is marked “Reviewed”. Each item says whether its source is official or secondary.
- The tool catalogue, the Models page and the Landscape show the date they were last checked.
For now, I review everything myself. News is reviewed every week before publication. Pages are reviewed when they are created, then revisited whenever a significant change requires it. If you spot a mistake or something unclear, write to me through the contact form: I will fix it and show the date of the change.
I use AI as an assistant: for news monitoring, a first translation or rewording. It never publishes anything on its own. Every page is reviewed, figures and claims are checked against the cited sources, and the “Reviewed” status only appears after that check. When AI saves me time, I spend it making the explanations clearer.
Corrections policy
- A reported error is checked, then corrected as soon as it is confirmed.
- The entry’s update date is then changed.
- A news item that turns out to be wrong is corrected or removed, and its source replaced.
Independence
- No sponsored links, no advertising.
- Tools are recommended according to public criteria: need covered, skill level, budget and data handling.
- No commercial ties with the companies mentioned.
IAdex receives no commission, uses no affiliate links and is not paid by any of the companies mentioned. No company can pay to be featured. Tools are chosen because I have tested or closely followed them, and according to public criteria: the need covered, the level required, the budget and how data is handled.
Report an error
An error, a missing source, something unclear? Every entry has a link to report it. You can also use the suggestion form.
